>Be the oddly dressed boy.
Taken from his lusus at the age of one and a half, Ruivan was made a slave despite his near-royal status of seadweller. He was forced to hide his fins and wear solid red attire in order to distinguish himself from her guests as a servant, and was ordered to never speak to them, or else he would be punished. Obedient, Ruivan's cooperative submission was most likely the only thing keeping him alive. He was practically good for very, very little due to his physical condition, but in avoiding mimicking another slave's rebel card, he has managed to stay alive.
In the near-two sweeps he has spent as a captive, he learned very little. Few things of which he learned would be that he is worth nothing, is not allowed to have a name, and may not speak in a way different than her other slaves. He has even been given a new symbol, one of which he really does not like that much, but puts up with it due to the fact he has no recollection of his former one and feels the desperate need to belong in some way. Though in the future he will also most likely develop a quirk, he still talks in a very simple and almost refined manner for a child. He has never learned how to behave outside of the hive he was trapped in, but with luck, this will also happen in the future. He has never once been able to make a friend, even with the other slaves, considering they all would come and go quicker than Ruivan could count.
Now that former master has been killed, Ruivan is clueless as to what to do. His lusus is gone, he can't remember his hive, and he wouldn't stand a chance by himself. As for now, however, he has decided to stay in the death-soaked hive for as long as he can, attempting to shut himself out and away from life.
